The process of applying to the "Adopt A
Business" for us as a new company was
one of our first experiences of opening
ourselves up to the public. We greatly
appreciated the recognition and exposure
by the press about our company. After
our selection we began to see numerous
benefits from expert consultants. The
process began by a general assessment of
our company and then the services were
form fitted to our company type. We
entered the Adopt A Business program
after a series of services were
performed by the SBDC. The direction for
us was in place and we gained advice
from industry experts, marketing,
financial analysis and strategic
planning support. We were and continue
to be members of TAB "The Alternative
Board". The monthly meetings and private
sessions have proven to be an invaluable
asset.
The CSUMB program that created our
Strategic Assessment was a great tool to
get a studied outside review of our plan
of action. I recommend the "Adopt A
Business Program" to any company that is
really interested in improving their
operations. The Chamber is great to work
with and the participating companies
provide excellent consulting services. |
